The Breast Cancer Fund's Climb Against The Odds

Thursday evening marked the Fourth Annual Wine and Dine for the The Breast Cancer Fund's Climb Against The Odds, which was held once again at Brasa, hosted by my friends Linda Morton and Tamara Murphy. I donated a painting, which I was proud to see bring the Breast Cancer Fund more than $1500 after some fierce bidding!

The food and wine, as always, were fabulous. It was great to see so many friends there helping raise money for such a great cause, and I am also glad to have had the opportunity to meet a few of my own fans and patrons including Seattle Storm coach Ann Donovan.

In July 2007, Linda Morton will join a team of breast cancer survivors and others whose lives have been affected by the disease in Climb Against the Odds ~ Mt. Shasta, the eighth major mountain climbing expedition hosted by the Breast Cancer Fund. Their inspirational team will strive to raise $500,000 for breast cancer prevention initiatives, will work tirelessly to increase awareness of the harmful health effects caused by environmental toxins, and will express the strength and courage found in the challenging climb to the top of a 14,162' dormant volcano in Northern California.

Please consider donating even a few dollars to help this great cause.
